Admission Procedures

1st Half 2020 Selective Process

 

REGISTRATION PERIOD:

11/04/2019 to 30/04/2020 from 08h30 to 12h00 and from 13h00 to 17h00

Location: In person, at the Program Secretariat or electronically:

SELECTION:

11/25/2019 at 2:00 pm for registrations made in the period from 4/11/2019 to 8/11/2019. The rest, up to 5 weeks after the date of registration, on a date to be disclosed.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR MASTER COURSE REGISTRATION:

– Postgraduate Student Registration Form;

– Declaration of Acceptance of Candidate by the Advisor;

– Copy of Undergraduate Diploma (front and back) or Certificate of Completion (obligatorily stating the date of award of degree obtained);

– Copy of the Graduate School History, containing the date of graduation (completed);

– 01 recent 3 × 4 photo with white background;

– Copy of Birth or Marriage Certificate (or equivalent document for foreigners);

– Copy of valid ID and temporary or permanent visa authorizing to study in Brazil. Examples of such documents: National Migration Registration Card (CRNM) or RNE (National Register for Foreigners) or RNE Protocol and Passport for foreign applicants.

Note: It is exceptionally authorized to enroll and enroll foreign applicants in postgraduate programs, holding only the passport with the student visa, accompanied by the schedule of the Registration / Issuance of Foreign Identity Card issued by the Federal Police. After the student’s attendance to the Federal Police, on the scheduled date, the interested party must present to the Graduate Secretariat the protocol / document issued by the Federal Police, with the RNE number, within a maximum of 15 days to regularize the registration in the System. – Proof of English Language Proficiency in the enrollment to the selection process, which can be demonstrated by the presentation of a copy of the Certificate (according to TEAP, TOEFL, IELTS, CAMBRIDGE and MICHIGAN exams), considering 60% or more maximum grade achieved up to five (5) years prior to the date of application of the candidate to the Program. Other exams and respective minimum grades, different for Master and Doctorate, may be analyzed by the CCP upon request of the candidate;

– Proof of payment of registration fee of R $ 214,00

NOTE: The registration fee of R $ 214,00 will be issued by the Program Secretary after the submission of all documentation mentioned above and must be paid by the applicant.

– Curriculum Vitae (preferably in the LATTES model);

– Project Research and Project Summary printed and recorded on electronic media (CD / DVD).

 

 

 DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR REGISTRATION IN THE DOCTORATE COURSE:

– Postgraduate Student Registration Form;

– Declaration of Acceptance of Candidate by the Advisor;

– Copy of Undergraduate Diploma (front and back) or Certificate of Completion (obligatorily stating the date of award of degree obtained);

– Copy of the Graduate School History, containing the date of graduation (completed);

– Copy of the Master’s degree diploma or certificate of completion (or certificate with the expected date for the defense of the dissertation and obtaining the title of Master, which must be prior to the first day of enrollment) and Master’s School History, Post-Graduate program. Graduation recognized by CAPES (with a concept equal to or higher than 3), for candidates to the Doctorate with previous Masters.

– 01 recent 3 × 4 photo with white background;

– Copy of Birth or Marriage Certificate (or equivalent document for foreigners);

 It is desirable for the candidate to present scientific production and have attended a scientific initiation program or a lato sensu graduate program or equivalent.
